Requirements for a Live Troubleshooting Meeting

When arranging a live troubleshooting meeting, such as a phone call or GoToMeeting, we ask that you meet the following requirements to make the meeting as productive as possible. Your time is very valuable and we don't want to waste it! Having all these things in place allows us to be able to solve your problem as efficiently as possible.

  1. Please make sure a SharePoint administrator will attend the call, if you are not one yourself.
  2. Make sure you have full administrative access to the environment where the problem is occurring.
  3. If the problem is occurring only on specific user accounts, make sure you are able to log into their accounts to demonstrate the problem during the call.
  4. Make sure you have Fiddler installed on the problem environment, as we sometimes need to capture web communication during support calls. Fiddler can be downloaded here: http://www.telerik.com/fiddler

Thank you for your cooperation--it allows us to provide the best service possible.
